Former Ireland international Stephen Ireland has finally bitten the bullet and shaved his balding pate. Having also grown a beard the follicly-challenged star is now sporting the upside-down head look favored by the likes of Nic Anelka and Muslims.
The 22 year-old has been conspicuously absent from the Irish national team after storming out of a training camp in 2007. Ireland was the subject of intense goading after teammates suspected the star’s hair wasn’t his own. The final straw came when the piece was snatched from his head and a piggy in the middle style game ensued.
