I want that and, therefore, would like to put Lithuania forward. They made a mockery of their 54th place in FIFA's incomprehensible world rankings by stuffing an understrength Romania 3-0 away from home; before cruising past the latest conquerers of France, beating Austria 2-0 in Vilnius.
Despite the fact that half their current squad plies its trade in the SPL, they have managed to top Group 7 after the first 2 rounds. No easy gig. The group looks a bugger with the Faroe Isles offering the only free points.
So, you heard it here first, Lithuania for a play-off spot.
